Our vision for seoClarity has always been to provide the best and most up-to-date technology to allow our clients achieve the highest search visibility possible. For that reason, our product and development teams have been continuously launching new capabilities or enhancing the existing ones.

As we continue into 2018 that hasn't changed. We're dedicated to ensuring our customers stay ahead of the constant change in the digital landscape. We're passionate about search and how we can deliver more value to digital marketers. It's also important to note that EVERY client has immediate access to these new enhancements and capabilities. We never go back and add on incremental costs for more capabilites.

At the end of last year, we’ve shared with you 18 of our main innovations of 2017. Today, I want to update you on what we’ve been working on since then. You’ll learn what new and upgraded capabilities we launched this year.

Many of them share something in common:

They help our clients create better, more relevant, and well-optimized content on a global scale.

Content plays an ever-increasing role in a company’s success in search. But with 91% of brands using content already and 66% seeing good success with their efforts, the pressure on SEO teams to create highly-engaging but also, well-optimized content has never been higher.

Our focus was to provide better insight into topics or keywords and the ability to analyze campaign performance better, We introduced new ways to help them excel at content further.

But of course, there’s more. Our newest capabilities and enhancements improve many other aspects of on-site optimization, search visibility, and even, project management.

#1. More than 80 Countries in Research Grid

Research Grid was among our biggest re-launches last year. It comprises a whole set of capabilities allowing you to research, analyze, and understand any keyword, domain or content performance better.

Its key strength comes from the ability to provide real-time insights into the most relevant SEO data. And, it's driven on a data-set that's the the largest, community-contributed keywords database.

With more than 80 countries already in the Research Grid, this year so far we added 16 more countries to the database. If you haven't already experienced Research Grid LIVE, it's time!

#2. Semantically-Related Keywords Enhanced in Content Fusion

seoClarity users could discover and analyze related or long-tail keywords related to their main keyword for quite a while. For example, keyword women's skinny jeans in neat a word-cloud format, like this:

womensskinnyjeans_wordcloud

But with Google's updates from RankBrain and Hummingbird, we knew we needed to enhance this even further.

Specific information like this would help you write a more relevant and also, engaging content. And, in turn, both attract more visitors and acquire better rankings.

And as of February, seoClarity offers the ability to discover semantic phrases. Check out these semantically-related terms for the topic, black dress

#3. Built-In AI-Driven Content Writer - Content Fusion

Building on the semantically-related keywords to become an authority on a topic, Content Fusion is one of our biggest innovations of recent months. Before I tell you more about it, though, I’ll have to give you some context. Because at the core of Content Fusion, it address the challenges for marketers to write authoritative, engaging content.

Everyone aims to create quality blog posts, guides, product descriptions, etc. But only a few marketers truly understand what search engines consider quality content.

The result? Missed opportunities and a serious waste of time, effort, money and other resources.

The key to the problem, as I said, is that lack of understanding of what makes quality content.

For one, search engines have become incredibly powerful at understanding the search query and matching it with the most relevant pages. RankBrain and machine-learning allowed Google to go past search queries and analyzes intent plus many other factors to deliver the exact information a person’s looking for.

It became clear to us that to create content that ensures being rewarded by search engines for its queries, we need to do more than write intuitively.

We need to back it with artificial intelligence too.

Enter Content Fusion.

Content Fusion analyzes a topic using billions of SEO and content-specific data points. Then, it uses a deep, machine-learning algorithm to reveal insights that will help turn a particular piece of content into a high-quality and authoritative one.

And the best part? It does it all in real-time with in a few seconds, the results provide you insights on what to include your content based on what your audience wants.

But, how do you leverage it?

One example is to improve the relevance of the information you include. Today’s buyers are overburdened with content. Just the sheer number of blog posts published a day can make anyone’s head spin.

The only way to stand out and also, rank for unique phrases people might use is by including not only the information a person expects to see there but more.

But that can prove challenging unless a writer is an absolute topic expert.

Content Fusion helps uncover that missing insight quickly - for you and your writers to discover in an instant. In fact, every industry has its own deep-learning algorithm to suggest what other information you should include to make your content more authoritative. It utilizes and learns for your specific industry to deliver the most insightful results to help you create data-driven content.

#4. Relevant Keywords in Content Ideas

Content Ideas launched to allow our clients a glimpse into their target audience’s minds. This helps research the most common questions people ask about a specific topic. This, in turn, guides your content ideation process to boost search visibility.

Now, we took Content Ideas even further. Now, it includes the most relevant keywords, their search volume and the recency of the content idea. In addition, Content Ideas pulls from many more sources including Google's People Also Ask.

Our Content Ideas contains more than 550 million content ideas, making it the most robust database available. Plus, it's growing every day!

This offers an invaluable opportunity for SEOs to be able to reverse-engineer your audience’s needs. And then, immediately know what content to deliver to match those in SERPs.

#5. Clarity Audits

Our site audit tool received a major relaunch last year. In fact, we’ve rebuilt it from the ground up then to provide our clients with the ability to conduct deeper analysis of their sites. And this year, we’ve been expanding its capabilities further. Some of the major updates include:

  • Check for duplication
  • Audit even more global SEO requirements for international sites
  • Include HREFLANF and canonical crawls
  • Run crawl by region (This helps brands with multiple sites avoid the crawls blocked by country restrictions.)

#6. Spoofed Bot Activity in Bot Clarity

Spoof activity in the crawl data is a common problem. After all, day by day, fake crawlers visit websites to learn more about a site or scrape their content. Some try to overload your site, making it inaccessible. Others, insert malicious code into it. And all of them skew your data.

This addition to seoClarity advances the insights you can get from the crawl state report within GSC. This report provides you list of errors and crawl rate, but doesn't provide you data about fake bots. In order to tackle with this issue, we identify the list of common of fake bots and IPS to let clients know about how much spoof bot activity affects their site.

#7. Local Rankings in Rank Intelligence

Last year, Rank Intelligence debuted to allow our customers gain real-time insights and on-the-fly analysis with their ranking data. This included unlimited competitor rankings, filtering options based on limitless combinations, and the ability to handle all the analysis in one place.

This now features all the capabilities from Rank Intelligence but allows to dive into them on a local level.

#8. Tracking Job Pack Search Results

Job pack is new within Google's results. If your brand tracks job-related keywords, then its usefulness is beyond a doubt. Because, now, Google displays a dedicated pack of results (similar to local pack) for those queries. You can now track your visibility for job postings within universal rank types in seoClarity.

Take a look at this jobs-based search engine from Google:

#9. Internal Link Analysis

Internal links play an invaluable role for improving search visibility. They help search engines identify your most important pages, help crawlers navigate through your site and even let you highlight the context for each page.

Plus, they give you far more control than building backlinks, for example. In fact, our co-founder, Mitul Gandhi, always mentions this:

“Optimizing internal links is a lot easier than trying to acquire new external backlinks since the website is under your control.”

You can understand your internal link architecture:

  • Identify pages that have low number of internal links pointing to them,
  • Spot sub-optimal anchor links
  • Measure a page’s strength based on internal links pointing to it, and also
  • Discover its authority based on internal links rank score

Not to mention, full extracts available for your own advanced analysis available for immediate download after you crawl your site with Clarity Audits.

#10. Task Management Update

This might seem like a simple addition, but our clients are loving this new addition to the platform. Utilize seoClarity for a full workflow and task management process within Actionable Insights. Assign out a task to any team member (even those NOT in the platform) and comment on the task itself to manage the workflow.
